Most of the time, prospective Yoga teachers have a very strong foundation in Yoga; but sometimes, they originally come from a related-field, such as Martial Arts, Pilates, Dance, Gymnastics, or Fitness. This is fine, but be prepared for a “learning curve” and do not expect to learn all about Yoga in one Yoga teacher training intensive course. Even if you “lock yourself up” in an ashram for months, you should realize that learning Yoga is a life-long journey and not a race.
Now, if you come from a related field – you have a lot more mental work to do than a long-time student of Yoga. Below is a list of what a Hatha Yoga teacher should know in order to successfully teach Yoga classes.
Stress symptoms can display themselves in many different forms, depending on who you are and what triggers you have in your life. If you’re feeling stressed, it’s important to act sooner, rather than later, so it doesn’t build and become worse. Often stress can be solved with a simple change in your diet, or lifestyle, but whatever you do — don’t ignore it and hope things will magically become better. Below you will find many common symptoms listed, which include both physical and emotional/mental indicators.
Physical Stress Symptoms
Many people seem to think about stress as something that is mental. However, there are many different physical stress symptoms that occur. There are a variety of things that can cause stress to occur, and the body has a natural reaction to them, which is stress. The “fight or flight” response of the body is usually what causes the symptoms of stress to occur. This occurs because it is not designed to be used for a long time period. If you are able to understand the stress symptoms, you will find it easier to find the fast and natural stress relief that you really want.
Behavioural Stress Symptoms
Does anyone know of any good relaxation techniques that work, I dont have bags of time as my 4 month son keep wailing, so short and sweet would be good. And I am afraid drinking myself into a chilled out state is not an option.
