Any good albums you listen to at home to do pilates, meditate and do yoga? I haven’t do this for my research for my novel, since I’m not flexible to do yoga and pilates. But any preferences of any music to do it to, from pilates and yoga instructors, and any one who takes the classes? I’ve listed Michael Bublé in my novel. Would he be good too?

In medical terminology, ‘Sleeping Disorder’ refers to a lethal disease that tends to disrupt the sleeping pattern of an individual. This irregular disruption in the sleep will not only affect the health of an individual but affect the mental state of the person as well. There are different levels of sleeping disorders, namely Snoring, insomnia etc. If one fails to have a sound sleep during night, then at a certain stage, it proves to be detrimental on his/ her physical as well as mental health.

Studies have revealed that sleeping disorder is the root cause of various critical problems like deficient cognitive, disruptions in the immune system, obesity and many more. It is therefore suggested that one should take a sound sleep in order to cope with sleeping disorder. Besides, for proper sleep an individual is recommended to follow proper relaxation patterns so as to overcome the trouble of sleeping disorder.

When we hear the word stress what usually comes into our minds? None of the good things that come with it, I am sure. And perhaps you are even asking yourself if there are any. My answer is there are. But before we get to that, let us first define stress. Stress is biochemical reaction in our bodies. It is caused by Cortisol, a hormone produced by our adrenal glands; somewhat similar to fight or flight. Cortisol causes our eyes to dilate and our heart to pump faster. It increases our heart rate and blood sugar levels. In some studies, stress is considered to be one of the major factors of 80 percent of major illnesses. Perhaps the logic behind this being that Cortisol suppresses the immune system. However, Cortisol is not all that bad. Like all things, it has two sides. The hormone also helps us stay focused, keep us energized, and keeps us on our toes. Have you ever experienced being stressed out running after a deadline and yet surprisingly, you find that you are able to get the job done with unexpected concentration? This is one of the good effects of Cortisol.

Know any good relaxation techniques?

Does anyone know of any good relaxation techniques that work, I dont have bags of time as my 4 month son keep wailing, so short and sweet would be good. And I am afraid drinking myself into a chilled out state is not an option.

What are some good yoga books for beginners?

I’d like one that not only covers the basic poses, but covers some of the history of yoga & explains the benefits of the poses.

Actually I am a Yoga instructor and one of my students has a shoulder injury. I’m trying to think of different variations he can do.

I get a bit anxious in my work sometimes and would like to know what herbal remedies can help me keep calm. I dont blow up or let off steam but sometimes I find myself rushing to the toilet or sweating a lot. My stomach gets tense and I cant concentrate on simple tasks.
there are some issues that trouble me but they have nothing to do with work and are health related
